Volunteer IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Christy’s Cause. Typically, we need volunteer support around our annual events such as Run 4 The Cause and the Human Trafficking Symposium. But due to COVID-19, we will not be hosting events this year. In its place, we will be producing several educational videos to help the community better identify and help victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation while making sure we practice CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Christy’s Cause partners with several local organizations in SWFL that take part in helping human trafficking survivors. The organizations listed below have wonderful options for you to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida is an organization that creates an environment where children are protected and encouraged. Volunteers can support the home through upcoming events, partnering with the organization, working at the home, or donating.
Abuse, Counseling & Treatment (ACT) volunteers work in community advocacy, awareness campaigns and events, the Second ACT Thrift Store, and in-office administration. Direct-service volunteers are trained as Counseling interns, court advocates, and On-Call Crisis Advocates to survivors of assault.
Naples Abused Women Shelter volunteers may work in Naples or Immokalee offices helping with outreach programs or administrative support. A few possibilities are The Shelter Options Shoppe, Beau Venturi Home (emergency shelter), or Community Events.
